Because God forbid someone like your art enough to want to share it with other people.

Why are so many people getting their panties in a twist about this? No one is stealing your art. It wasn't impossible to do this before, you can simply copy the url from the address bar and drop the link off to anyone anywhere. They've only tidied up the process a bit for people who use those social networking sites.

You should be flattered, honestly, that someone feels your artwork is worth a look.

Not to mention it's a great tool for the artist themselves to use to easily link others to their latest picture.

If you don't like the way the site is run maybe you shouldn't be here.

I just have to say that this is a brilliant stamp.

With the new change to the deviation pages, I have to go back and manually set the 'Sharing' options to Enabled (especially on my more popular pieces), which I suppose is a good problem to have.

So, thanks for making this stamp!

Pfft, wow, isn't that a little forceful? You can't tell people how they should feel about anything.

I'm on the fence about the share thing, because I don't really do artwork, I'm a writer. I'm sick of the naysayers bitching about it, but I'm also sick of the prosiders trying to shove it down their throats that its the best thing ever since sliced bread and that they should like it or get off dA.

I think if you want people to feel more comfortable about the stamp, why not try to be a bit less harsh in your Artist Comments, yeah?

Just a thought ;)

I wasn't talking about the stamp itself; I was talking about the Artist Comments in the detail box. It just felt like it was being too harsh.
